About This Home

Some places are more than a business. They're where a community makes memories. Long Branch Shooting House & Saloon is one of those places. Set on approximately 15 acres among the rolling hills near Ava, this operating saloon has welcomed class reunions, Weddings, Receptions, birthday parties and countless other gatherings for families and friends in the surrounding rural community. It remains a place to come together, with Pouches on the Patio scheduled for October 25. Built in 2017, the 3,664-square-foot saloon offers indoor gathering space, video gaming, a walk-in cooler, two bathrooms, and a 17-by-71-foot porch for outdoor seating. Ample parking makes it easy to host a crowd, while an additional 55-by-23-foot storage area provides room for supplies and equipment. The property also includes a modular home with more than 2,400 square feet, currently used as a short-term rental and hunting cabin. It has three bedrooms with potential for five, three bathrooms, a recreation room, and a two-car garage. The owner would consider selling the home furnished. Heating and air-conditioning systems in both buildings were replaced in 2020. With boat storage on the property, a hayfield maintained by a neighbor, and the Paul Ice boat ramp at Kinkaid Lake approximately nine miles away, Long Branch has plenty to offer locals and visitors enjoying Southern Illinois. This is an opportunity to carry forward a place that people already know, gather at, and love. Schedule a private showing to experience Long Branch for yourself.
